Just sold my truck now I really want a new car | Sellers anxiety

****UPDATED POST****

So I literally just sold my Eddie Bauer Ford Expedition and now I am on the hunt for another car.
I dont want anything spectacular, but I do have a few ‘must haves’ on my list.

✪ I’d prefer a standard transmission, you know, a stick shift or 5-speed.

✪ It must be a 4 – 6 cylinder. I just got rid of a V-8 gas monster and I am looking forward to a cheap gas bill.

✪ A/C is a must! I live in Florida. Nuff said.

✪ I need a clean interior. I don’t do filthy cars.

✪ No major mechanical issues.

A small to midsized economy vehicle is basically what I’m looking for.
I’m not too picky but I do love Jettas…

2000 Volkswagen Jetta 5 Speed w/ Sunroof.

It doesn’t have to be just like this car but something similar, basic and cheap – but cute too.

I’m optimistic.

I feel it.

It’s going to happen for me.

Watch.

Uterus LoveI used to hate Her

I used to hate my period – and my uterus specifically for the painful periods I’ve experienced most of my ovulating life.

Griping pain that left me rendered to the bed on days that should have been productive.

Horrid PMS: crazy mood swings and chocolate cravings that lead to weight gain and skin eruptions.

It’s been a monthly nightmare that lead to actual anxiety about my monthly!

Until I changed my lifestyle AND my mind by learning to appreciate the beauty of my reproductive organs and my monthly cycle.

Times are changing | Autumnal Equinox

Autumnal Equinox Harvest JPEGThe first day of fall is September 22nd and I’m excited!

Despite being born in the spring, the fall is my favorite time of year.

It represents change, reincarnation and perceived dormancy – like a cocoon!

This time of year brings to mind harvest.

Sunlight is decreasing now, so I find it best to eat an abundance of foods that grow closer to the ground than summer vine foods – also foods that are the color of the sun (yellows and oranges) like the many variety of squash, beans and lentils – along with your 365 a year greens of course 😉
The latter part of the year is the perfect time for lots of soups and stews too.

Spiced teas with cinnamon and ginger to warm you up on cool mornings.

I love this time of year!
Pumpkin pie, sweet potato pies and peach cobblers…mmmm 🙂

Let’s not forget hot cocoa.
I guess I shouldn’t have written this post while on a cleanse eh? lol
Now’s a good time to start planning your Thanksgiving dinner too – especially if like me, you are making it an all natural, vegan friendly affair – but have meat/picky eaters to please and needs lots of time to find recipes, create recipes and plan 🙂

Be sure to check out the blog over at Makeydah’s Pantry for some up coming Thanksgiving recipes with healthy twists and more smoothies throughout the month of September.

Happy Autumn everyone!

Why strollers are making kids passive, uninquisitive and fat : TreeHugger

Was browsing articles on TreeHugger.com and ran across this one.  Makes for an interesting read.

My oldest 2 kids were in strollers – but walked a lot too – I didn’t use my strollers a lot.  I liked holding their little hands and letting them explore.

By the time my youngest 2 came along, I saw strollers as a waste of money and only remember owning 2 collectively.

I held them, and when they were bigger, they just walked.

My youngest child was a sling baby – but that’s another topic 😉

Enjoy the article!
